Organisational Background

Rooted in resilience and rural community action.

Freedom From Hunger Campaign (FFHC) is one of The Gambia's longest-standing non-governmental organizations. From its head office in Mansakonko, FFHC works hand-in-hand with rural communities to improve agriculture, nutrition, livelihoods, and environmental management.

FFHC works through women associations, village institutions, Village Development Committees, women kafoos, youth groups, and special interest groups affiliated with the organization.
